Lyophilized PCR Assay

Lyophilized PCR Assay

Under controlled temperature and pressure, >95% of the water in PCR assays can be removed from the solid into the vapor state. This leaves the assay both intact and active.
The lyophilized PCR Assay contains all reagents (except template and primer&probe) required for successful PCR reaction in one tube, including quality enzyme ultrapure dNTPs and the optimized complete reaction buffer.

Handling
Genabio Lyophilized PCR Assay is available in PCR reaction tube strips or 96-well plates preloaded with a complete qPCR master mix in a dry, room temperature stable format and offers the following benefits.
Ambient temperature stability. Unlike conventional PCR reagents that require both cold transport/cold storage and typically expire within six months, lyophilized reagents can be stored at ambient temperature for up to two years minimizing cost, packaging and environmental impact.
Convenience. Freeze-thawing and assembly of multiple PCR reagents creates the potential for pipetting errors and batch-to-batch inconsistency. Using pre-formulated lyophilized reagents that contain all the components needed for PCR offers simplicity and minimizes hands-on time; essential for improved laboratory throughput and time-sensitive results.
Contamination prevention. By minimizing the number of reagent handling steps needed in reaction set-up, sample handling and pipetting steps are reduced, lowering the risk of sample degradation, cross-contamination and critically, human error.
Robustness. By using single-source, single-batch core PCR reagents pre-formulated for immediate use, batch-to-batch variation between individual reagents is reduced, providing consistency and reproducibility for quantitative applications.

Storage and shipping temperature: between 0 – 30 °C, minimum shelf life: 16 months
